CZ Stone Disclaimer & Limited Warranty

At LYS Artistry, every piece is handcrafted with care, intention, and attention to detail. Most sterling silver, filled, or plated settings that include accent stones are set with cubic zirconia (CZ) stones unless otherwise discussed prior to ordering.

While CZ stones are beautiful and durable, they can loosen or fall out over time without proper jewelry care — just like with any fine jewelry. Before your order is shipped, all stones are carefully inspected to ensure they are secure and properly set.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that LYS Artistry is not responsible for lost CZ stones caused by improper wear, accidental damage, or failure to follow jewelry care instructions.

That being said, I truly want you to love your piece and feel supported if an issue arises.

If a CZ stone falls out within 30 days of delivery, please contact me with photos of the piece.
One complimentary replacement repair will be offered within that 30 day period.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with the repair.

After 30 days, replacement of missing CZ stones will become the responsibility of the customer. In most cases, local jewelers can replace CZ stones quickly and affordably.

If you are concerned about accent stones over time, I recommend selecting a setting without CZ detailing.

Tarnish & Plating Disclaimer

LYS Artistry pieces are created using carefully selected, high quality materials including 925 sterling silver.

Sterling silver is durable, timeless, and designed to last with proper care. However, all sterling silver jewelry can naturally tarnish over time depending on skin chemistry, moisture exposure, storage habits, and daily wear.

Gold plated and rose gold plated pieces are especially important to care for gently. While I use quality plated settings, all plating naturally fades and wears over time — especially with frequent wear, water exposure, lotions, perfumes, and hand washing.

For customers wanting a piece intended for everyday lifelong wear, sterling silver or solid gold are typically the best options.

With proper care and storage, your jewelry can remain beautiful for years to come.

Shipping to Us

Once you place an order, you'll be sent an email with simple but detailed instructions. Please label all inclusions with your name and order number.

We ask that you send 10ML of breast milk for Breast Milk Keepsakes—it does NOT need to be kept cold. It is simple and easy to ship, just like any other package.

We ask for 2 tsp. of ashes for cremation keepsakes.

We process jewelry in the order that we receive the milk and/or other inclusions, NOT when your order was placed.

Shipping Times

We fill all orders in the order that we receive your inclusions. Keepsake jewelry can take up to 6-12 weeks from the time we receive your inclusions. It is very possible, and even very likely, that you will receive your jewelry before this timeline! This just ensures that there will be enough time to process milk, dry any flowers, receive any custom pieces that we need to complete your order, hand-craft your piece(s), inspect your jewelry, than package and ship your order. While we work as hard as we can to complete your order and get it out on time, it’s possible that things could happen beyond our control, which may result in your order being delivered later than anticipated. This is very rare, but should be noted. If this happens, it’s usually that we are waiting for your custom jewelry from one of our custom manufacturers, and this will be communicated!

Shipping to You

Ring Sizing

Our rings cannot be resized. Resizing your ring could compromise the durability and resilience of the stone due to the most common process of resizing using heat. It is very important to get the most accurate US ring size. See a jeweler or jewelry counter to be sized. It is at your own risk if you choose to have a jeweler try to resize your ring.

Order Changes

We only accommodate free order changes within 24 hours of placing your order.

If changes to the jewelry setting are requested after the 24 hour period, a $50 fee per jewelry piece will apply.

If you are hoping to make changes to the stone design, please reach out as soon as possible. Once your inclusion has been preserved, no further changes can be made.

Discount codes must be applied at checkout. Discounts cannot be honored after an order has been placed.

Refund Policy

Due to the custom and deeply personal nature of my work, all sales are final once payment has been made. Every piece is handmade specifically for you and often begins preparation immediately after ordering.
