Jewelry Care Instructions:

Tiny air bubbles, mold lines, beads not sitting 100% flush, and other small imperfections are all within the normal range of handmade jewelry such as this. By purchasing from Ounce Of Artistry, you understand that your piece will not be “flawless” and that is what makes your piece unique.

Resin jewelry is pretty tough but to ensure this lasts, try to follow these instructions. 

 

Try to avoid bumping and scratching your piece as this could damage. Avoid using tools and doing manual work with the piece on.

Please do NOT submerge your jewelry for extended periods of time, wear your jewelry while in the shower, washing hands, doing dishes or while partaking in any other activity that may expose it to excess moisture.

Please remember to NOT wear your jewelry to sleep- wearing your jewelry 24/7 is NOT recommended and may cause your keepsake to shown signs of distress.
 
Please AVOID exposing your jewelry to harsh chemicals ( like cleaning products, lotions, hairspray, soap, hand sanitizer etc).
 
Please, limit the amount of direct UV exposure. Do NOT wear your keepsake at the tanning salon, under UV lamps at nail salons or leave your jewelry out in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

If your piece has dulled or has been scratched or scraped within the 90 days, I will repair it for free but you are responsible for covering shipping costs.

 

If your piece has dulled or yellowed it is almost always due to improper care of your keepsake. In some cases the top layer can be sanded and refinished depending on the damage.

​

For general wear, I can give it a touch up for $10 plus you are responsible for shipping costs. Please contact me first so I can see pictures of the piece to come up with a plan.
